Alumni & Placement Management Software on one record, seven years apart.
On the right is a graduate from the batch of 2019 who now works at a firm the placement cell is trying to get on campus. They are the same database — and that is the only interesting thing about this module.
What Is Alumni and Placement Management Software?
One person, one record, eleven years. Move the marker and watch the same database row change its job.
Alumni and placement management software is the part of an institutional ERP that runs the campus placement season and maintains the alumni network that follows it. Because the student record already exists, a final year student passes through drive registration, eligibility checks, shortlisting and an offer without being re-entered, and at graduation that same record becomes the alumni record.
Most institutions run these as two unrelated things: a placement cell with a folder of spreadsheets, and an alumni association with a WhatsApp group and a photo album. Both are maintained by hand, both go stale, and neither can answer the question that matters in October — do we already know somebody inside this company.
An alumnus is not a past student. An alumnus is a placement contact who already trusts you.
What the placement cell gets
Companies, drives and eligibility rules in one place, students who can only apply to what they qualify for, and shortlists, interview rounds and offers recorded against the student rather than in a shared sheet.
What the institution gets
An alumni directory that begins complete and is corrected by the alumni themselves, and the placement tables for NAAC, NIRF and the annual report drawn from the offers instead of rebuilt each cycle.
Training and Placement Cell Software That Runs the Whole Season
Fourteen drives at five different stages, which is what a placement cell actually looks like in November. Click any company to open it.
Campus Recruitment Software: the Eligibility Gate Before the Shortlist
This is where a placement cell loses its days. Change the rules on the left and watch who the drive is actually offered to — students who do not clear them never see it, so the list going to the recruiter needs no cleaning.

Other rules a drive can carry
- Tenth and twelfth percentage, or the diploma aggregate
- Maximum education gap in years
- Programme and admission batch
- Whether a student holding an offer may apply, and the dream company exception
Alumni Management Software: a Directory That Fills Itself
An alumni list that starts from scratch is dead in two years. This one starts complete — every alumnus was a student with a record — and is then corrected by the alumni themselves. Pick a batch.
Where the traced alumni of this batch are, by sector. Untraced alumni are left out rather than guessed at.
The graduate updates their own record
They sign in with the number the institution already holds, confirm their employer, role and city, and tick whether they will refer, mentor or speak. No form is posted to them and nobody maintains a list.
The placement cell searches its own network
Before approaching a company, the cell checks whether any of its own graduates already work there. For a smaller institution this is usually the only route to a first drive with a large recruiter.
The referral becomes a drive
That alumnus forwards the profile internally, the drive gets scheduled, and the students who clear its eligibility see it in their app — back at the start of the board, one year later.
Placement Reports for NAAC, NIRF and the Annual Report
Every accreditation cycle, somebody rebuilds these numbers from a spreadsheet and gets a slightly different answer than last time. These come from the offers themselves, which is why the annual report and the NIRF submission agree.
Placement percentage by year
B.Tech, all branches—2026 is the season still in progress — the figure moves until the last offer is accepted.
| Year | Placed |
|---|
Median package by branch
₹ lakh per annum, 2026Median rather than average, because one outlier offer distorts a branch of forty students — and because NIRF asks for the median.
| Branch | Median |
|---|
5.2.1 placement & progression
Students placed and students progressing to higher education, per programme, per year, with the supporting offer list behind each figure.
Graduation outcomes
Placed, higher studies and median salary for the three preceding years in the format the submission asks for, not reshaped by hand each cycle.
Annual mandatory disclosure
Recruiters visited, offers made and package ranges, generated from the same season records rather than recalled by the placement officer.
The annual report
The narrative version — top recruiters, package movement, branch by branch — which is the same data with a different cover sheet.
