School Mobile App for Parents and Students — one login for every child

Most school apps are a second system someone has to keep updated. This one is a window. A parent opens it and sees the attendance the class teacher just saved, the fee balance the accountant just receipted and the notice the office just published — because it is reading the same database they wrote to, not a copy of it.

Quick answer

What Is a School App for Parents and Students?

The questions a parent asks in the first week, answered the way they would be asked.

Educare365 · school officeOnline
What is a school app for parents and students?

A school app for parents and students is the mobile front of the school's ERP. A parent and a child each get a login to their own record — attendance, timetable, homework, exam results, fee dues, transport and school notices — so information the school has already entered is readable on a phone instead of being asked for at the office counter.

The point is not the app. It is that there is only one copy of the information. If the app shows a different attendance figure from the register, somebody is maintaining two systems, and one of them is wrong.

Is that not the same as the school website?

No. The website is public and the same for everyone — admissions, photos, the calendar. The app is private and personal to one child: this student's attendance, this family's fee balance, this section's homework.

A website is updated when someone remembers to update it. The app changes the moment a teacher presses save, because it is reading the record rather than a page someone wrote about it.

Does my child get their own login?

Yes, and it shows less. A student sees the timetable, homework, assignments, results, library books and notices. Fee dues, teacher messages and leave approvals stay on the parent login.

One parent login covers every child in the family, with a switcher at the top — so a parent with three children in the school signs in once, not three times.

What about parents who don't have a smartphone?

They are not left out. Attendance alerts, fee reminders, results and notices also go out by SMS to the number registered with the school, and the office can print a receipt or a report card on request.

The app is a convenience layer over the school's record, not a gate in front of it. Treating it as the only channel is how schools lose the parents who most need the information.

That is the whole answer — ask us the rest on a demo call.
Three logins, one database

Parent Teacher Communication App With Notices, Messages and Alerts

The same school day seen from three phones. A parent, their child and the class teacher each open a different screen, but every number on all three comes from the same record — which is why a message about attendance and the attendance itself can never drift apart. Try the teacher's screen: mark the roll and watch the tally move.

Student Attendance App That Shows the Day on the Parent's Phone

Attendance is the screen that decides whether a parent keeps the app on their phone. A student attendance app is only worth installing if the parent can check any day of the month, not just today — so here is one child's October, exactly as a parent sees it. Tap any date to read what happened, who entered it and when the parent was told.

WHY IT IS TRUSTED

Period wise, not a single morning tick

🕘Each subject teacher confirms their own period, so a student who leaves after lunch is not left showing present for the full day.
✏️A correction updates the register and the parent's screen together. There is no follow-up message to remember to send.
📑The monthly and term percentage a board or an RTE return asks for is the same number the parent has been watching all month.

School Management App for Fees, Homework and Report Cards

The honest measure of a school app is not how many features it lists. It is how many trips to the school gate it removes from a working parent's month. Tap a row to strike out the old way.

Ring the office at 9:30 to check whether your child reached school.

Six errands that used to need the school gate. The point is not the list — it is that none of them needed a second system, because fees, homework, results, leave and notices were already in Educare365 before the app existed.

Getting it into parents' hands

Student App Rollout for Android, iOS and Parents Without a Smartphone

Adoption is where most school apps fail — not at the feature list. Three steps to go live, and four things we have learnt matter more than any feature in an Indian school.

1

School switches it on

Enabled from the Educare365 admin console. Nothing is entered twice — the student roll, sections, fee structure and staff already exist in the system, so there is no import and no setup project.

2

Parent signs in with their number

Install from the Play Store or App Store and sign in with the mobile number the school already holds, verified by a one time password. No username to remember, no registration form, no approval queue.

3

Children appear under one login

Every child linked to that number shows up under a switcher at the top. A parent with three children in the school signs in once and moves between them with a tap.

📶

Built for the handset parents own

It runs on low cost Android and falls back to a lighter list view on a weak connection, because the parents who most need the notice are rarely the ones on a flagship phone.

🗣️

Readable in the parent's language

Screens and notifications in English, Hindi, Odia and other Indian languages, set per parent, so the father who reads Odia and the mother who reads Hindi are not sharing one English screen.

💬

SMS for everyone else

Attendance alerts, fee reminders, results and notices also go by SMS to the registered number. No parent is cut off from the school because of the phone they carry.

🏷️

Published under your own name

On the relevant plan the app goes on the Play Store and App Store with the school's name, logo and colours. Parents install the school's app, not a vendor's.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Parents & Students Mobile App

What principals and IT coordinators ask us before a rollout.<

A school app for parents and students is the mobile front of the school's ERP. A parent and a child each get a login to their own record — attendance, timetable, homework, exam results, fee dues, transport and school notices — so information the school has already entered is readable on a phone instead of being asked for at the office counter.

Yes. The student role shows the timetable, homework, assignments, exam results and notices for that student. The parent role shows the same plus fees, leave requests, transport and teacher messages. One parent login covers every child in the family, with a switcher at the top, so siblings do not need separate accounts.

Yes, on both. The app is built to run on low cost Android handsets, which is what most parents in India actually carry, and it falls back to a lighter list view on a slow connection. A browser based parent portal with the same data is available for anyone who prefers not to install an app.

The app is a convenience layer, not the only channel. Notices, attendance alerts, fee reminders and results also go out as SMS to the registered mobile number, and the school office can print a fee receipt or report card on request. No parent loses information because of the handset they carry.

It is the same database the school staff work in, so there is no separate app data to synchronise. When a class teacher saves attendance, the parent sees that period marked. When the accountant posts a receipt, the due amount changes. Nothing is retyped or uploaded a second time.

Yes. The due instalment, any fine and the balance are shown on the student's own ledger, and payment goes through the school's payment gateway by UPI, card, net banking or wallet. The receipt is generated against the same ledger immediately, so the counter and the app never disagree.

Yes, within limits the school sets. Teachers and the office can send notices to a class, a section or one parent, and parents can reply on a thread that stays attached to the student record. Because messages live inside the system rather than in a personal chat group, a handover between teachers does not lose the history.

Yes. Schools on the relevant plan can have the app published on the Play Store and App Store under their own name, logo and colours, with Educare365 running the platform behind it. Parents then install the school's app rather than a vendor's app.
