Live Classes and an Online Class App with the dashboards to prove they worked.
Six classes are running in this school right now, and nobody scheduled a single one of them — each is a period on the timetable that opened itself. The console below is what the principal sees at 9:42 on a Wednesday, and the phone is what a student in Class VIII-B is holding.
What Is a Live Class and E-Learning Module?
Swipe the phone — it is the same four-screen tour a teacher gets on their first day.
A live class and e-learning module is the part of a school management system that turns a scheduled period into an online class and retains everything that period produces. Because the timetable supplies the subject, the teacher and the enrolled students, the class needs no separate meeting, the join log becomes the attendance record, and the recording, notes and practice material file themselves against the same period and chapter.
A meeting tool hands you an empty room. It has no idea who belongs in it and it cannot write a single thing back into a register, which is why schools running classes on meeting links end up keeping a second attendance sheet by hand and losing the recording in somebody's drive.
It will not make a weak lesson good, and it does not pretend to measure whether a child was paying attention. It measures what can honestly be measured — time in the class, poll answers, quiz scores, doubts raised — and leaves the teaching to the teacher.
Online Class App for Teachers: Inside One Live Period
Mrs Das taking period 3. Tap a numbered pin on the screen — or a note underneath — to see what each part of it is doing while she teaches.

x = 6
The board
Whatever is written here is captured into the recording and into the chapter notes, so the working a student saw today is the working they revise from in March.
The class list
Forty-two names come from the enrolment for VIII-B, not from whoever clicked a link. Two hands are up and the queue holds their order.
The tools
Poll, quiz, screen share and recording run inside the period, which is why a poll answer attaches to a student rather than vanishing with the call.
The clock
Fourteen minutes and thirty seconds in. Every student's time in the class is being totalled as this runs — that total is the attendance register later.
Online Class App for Students: Every Screen in the E Learning App
Tap the bar at the bottom of the phone, or any note beside it. This is the whole student app — five screens, no sixth place to look.
Home
What is happening now and what is next. A live class shows a join button; everything else is a reminder, not a notification someone had to send.
Timetable
Their own timetable, the same one the school runs. Online periods carry a live badge at the right time; classroom periods simply do not.
In the class
The board, a raise-hand button and the minutes counted so far. If bandwidth drops the video goes and the board stays, which is the right way round.
Library
Recordings filed under the chapter, next to the notes and the practice set. Not a list of dates, which is how most recordings become unfindable.
Saved
Downloaded on Wi-Fi, opened offline. The student on a limited data pack revises without spending it, which is most of them.
Attendance From the Join Log, Not a Second Register
The period has ended. Press the button and watch the register fill — it is reading how long each student was actually in the class, not whether they once clicked join.

What counts as present
The share of the period a student must actually be present for. Set once per institution, or per subject where a practical runs differently from a lecture.
LMS for Schools: The Dashboards a Principal Actually Opens
Three questions get asked at every review — is attendance holding, which periods lose the room, and is anybody watching the recordings. Pick a section and all three answer at once, from the same records the classes produced.

Attendance by period of the day
average across the term—The shape is the same in every school we have measured: the last two periods of the day lose the room. That is a timetable conversation, not a software one — but a school cannot have it without the figure.

Built for the Handset and the Connection a Student Actually Has
Every virtual classroom demo runs on a conference room connection. The lesson that matters runs on a four year old Android phone sharing a daily data pack with the rest of the family.
Audio when video gives up
Bandwidth falls and the class drops to audio with the board still visible, rather than freezing. A lesson a student can hear beats a video that buffers.
Rejoining does not punish
Time is totalled across every join, so a student knocked offline twice still gets credit for the minutes they were there — and one who appears only at the end still does not.
Download on Wi-Fi, watch later
Recordings and notes download over school or home Wi-Fi and open offline, which is how a student on a limited pack revises without spending it.
One phone, two children
The parent login switches between children, so a family sharing one handset can attend both timetables and see both registers without separate accounts.

Frequently Asked Questions About Live Classes and E-Learning
What principals, academic heads and IT coordinators ask us before running the first online period.
Give us one period from your timetable and we'll run it live
Pick a single period for one section. We will set it up from your own timetable, let the subject teacher take it, and show you the attendance register afterwards — written from the join log, with nobody having typed a name.
